C O N N E C T I O N // I’ve not posted anything for ages, I’ve been feeling all out of love with Instagram and the demands to be constantly present on social media, when I’d rather be present with my family, my couples, outside in nature, breathing the fresh air and not being consumed by the doom scroll! So here’s a few frames of Gem & Lloyd’s beautiful connection session at Symonds Yat Rock in the Wye Valley… 🖤 I love connection sessions, a chance to meet up, get to know each other better, you get to see how I work, I get to see how your dynamic works together and how you feel in front of the camera and it takes away all the anxiety of having your photo taken before your wedding day… 100% worth finding a beautiful spot to escape to and spending some beautiful time together for!

Wow, where did that year go?! To all my amazing couples (you know who you are 🖤) who openly shared their vulnerable selves with me and entrusted me with recording their amazing weddings, elopements and connections in 2023…THANK YOU! 📸 Your trust, your love, and the countless beautiful memories made my year truly special. I am filled with gratitude.

I’m all about being real and honest, so I’m not going to pretend 2023 was all roses!! Damn, it was TOUGH! Running a small business in the wake of a pandemic, with the added strain of a cost-of-living crisis, has brought a lot of challenge and stress. The wedding industry has really felt the echoes of the ‘engagement gap’ from reduced socialisation during the pandemic. Yeah, it’s been a ride!

Now, more than ever, small businesses need your support. If you know someone who is running their own business, maybe drop them a message and see how they’re doing. Like and share their latest post, or write them a review; it might just make all the difference to them ❤

So let’s dance into the new year together, 2024 is full of opportunity and endless possibilities. A year for more self-care, for more adventures, for stepping outside of our comfort zones and for believing in ourselves!

LA GRANDE FINALE 🥂 Kat & Anja, what a day!! Thank you for ending my 2023 season on an absolute high! I love winter weddings, and @brymptonhouse looked stunning with log fires lit, the fabulous Christmas Tree in the Great Hall, beautiful candle lit reception complete with Christmas stocking favours - which Anja individually embroidered with all their guests names herself! Every part of their day was brimming with fun, love and joy, between family and the best of friends - what an epic end to my season! 🍾🥂🎉
